About Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar

Established in the year 1946, Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar has been nurturing the lives of millions of students for decades now. The school was founded by Late Basant Kumar Birla and his wife, Late Sarala Birla, for their son, Late Aditya Birla. Over the years, the school has grown into one of Kolkata’s most respected educational institutions under the able guidance of Late Manjushree Khaitan, the legacy being carried forward by the renowned industrialist Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla. Guided by our philosophy “Empowering Minds, Building Leaders & Shaping the Future” our school has always believed in nurturing young minds — not just academically, but creatively, emotionally, and socially.
