Modern High School for Girls

Modern High School for Girls, Kolkata is a post-Independence all faiths school founded in 1952 by Smt. Rukmani Devi Birla. It is an all-girls’ institution committed to developing thinking and independent young women and dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity, and emotional and social growth. The school aims to nurture imagination, originality, and confidence through writing and a plethora of other artistic means of self-expression.
