The Paper Planes Club carried out various workshops at Lakshmipat Singhania Academy, Kolkata over two days in the beginning of October, 2025.

Translation Workshop

Chirayata Chakrabarty conducted a one-and-a-half-hour Hindi to English Translation Workshop, where students from class 8 learned, through games and worksheets, about the main tenets of translating literary works from one language to another.

Zine Workshop Chirayata Chakrabarty carried out two 2-hours zine-making workshops, with students from classes 5 and 6, where students brought rudimentary art supplies like paper and colours, and made creative zines (little magazines) with us. They were taught two types of folds of zines. This was a brilliant outlet for children to creatively express their thoughts and opinions on things that are important to them.
